This holiday season, CARTA is adjusting service hours on Christmas Eve and observing full closures on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day to allow its team time to celebrate with their loved ones.
Christmas Eve Schedule (Tuesday, December 24, 2024):
- Care-A-Van: Last trips must be scheduled by 7 PM, and services will close at 8 PM, aligning with Fixed Route adjustments.
- CARTA GO: Operating normal hours from 5 AM to 8 PM.
- Select Fixed Routes will end services early (see route details below).

Christmas Day Schedule (Wednesday, December 25, 2024):
- All CARTA services (Fixed Route, CARTA GO, and Care-A-Van) will be closed for the holiday.
Service Resumes:
- Regular service for Fixed Route, CARTA GO, and Care-A-Van will resume on Thursday, December 26, 2024.
New Year’s Day Schedule (Wednesday, January 1, 2025):
- Fixed Route and CARTA GO: Services will not operate.
- Care-A-Van: Operating on a holiday schedule.
- Regular service for Fixed Route, CARTA GO, and Care-A-Van will resume on Thursday, January 2, 2025.
